Private Practice Staff
Karen joined the NHS team in 2003 after working as a representative for a stationary company. She is now a senior technician and has recently passed the examination to become a Registered Polysomnographic Technician (RPSGT). Her examination results were stunning, achieving 86% overall (428/500 marks), and being rated as "above expected competency" in all four parts of a very difficult four hour paper. She has huge experience in the monitoring of patients with sleep disordered breathing and full polysomnography for other complex sleep disorders, as well as the treatment of patients with CPAP for obstructive sleep apnoea, and Non Invasive Ventilation (NIV) for hypoventilation syndrome. In 2013 she passed the examination as part of the Edinburgh Sleep Medicine Course.
Outside work, Karen enjoys keeping fit, and lives with her husband who is an IT consultant, and their two daughters south of the Ashdown Forest.
She organises and co-ordinates clinics, appointments and fees.
Outside work, Catherine lives with her partner and two children on the edge of the Ashdown Forest. She likes to keep fit and is an avid runner and cyclist, as well as an accomplished pianist and flautist.
Ann joined the NHS team as a secretary in 2005. She works part-time in both the NHS and is the principal secretary for the private practice.
Outside work, Ann lives in Dormansland, and is interested in gardening and wildlife.
